Doing family photos is always interesting. It takes me to families homes, cottages, or maybe we pick a neutral spot, that means something to the family, but I have never been before. It’s great to see these special places, and the people who make them so special.

Doing this next set of family photos took me to the home of Hailey’s mom, and it is a great spot. They have a lovely home, and an even better little sanctuary right on Georgian Bay.

We started off down by the beach and the water, and shortly there after we went up to the house to just hang out and relax.

Besman Family, Thank you so much for letting me capture some of these moments at your home!

Happy Friday!

I have known Nicole for a long time. We went to high school together, we worked together, became good friends, and have always kept in touch with her world travels.

I distinctly remember one night when she was here with some other friends, that she was talking about this “Sean” guy. A guy that she had met while she was in Korea. She had asked me about long distance relationships and had asked me my advice(hubs and I are somewhat of seasoned pros when it comes to making a long distance relationship work). I gave her my advice, and was excited to see where life would take her and Sean.

Fast forward a couple years later and they are engaged! So needless to say, when Nicole contacted me to shoot her wedding, I was completely honoured, and so excited to be able to be a part of her day. Also, this means I would finally get to meet the one and only in Nicole’s life, Sean.

Nicole and Sean, Thank you for letting be a part of your big day. Seeing Nicole so utterly happy is a moment that as a friend, I will cherish in my long list of memories that I hold close. I wish you both nothing but love, happiness, and a long life of world travels. Can’t wait to see what other exciting things the future holds for the both of you!

BIG shout out to Kate Hood for helping me out that day-as always you rock! Also the staff at The Rosseau(amazing as always), and Mode Function for your beautiful Florals and Decor!

When I was contacted by some friends to do a last minute Newborn session, I was pretty excited! I always love it when friends get me to do photos for them. It means a lot to me, that they would think of me to capture these special moments for them.

I have been lucky enough to be present at a few very special moments in Brandy and Todd’s life, and capturing their first child’s, first few moments in his early life was no exception.

Their new little man Ryder, is super cute(and look’s a lot like his dad)! He did awesome at his session and I can’t wait to watch this little man grow!

Happy Friday!

A few weeks ago, I posted Kristen and John’s engagement session which was a ton of fun. Now, this time around I am sharing their wedding with you!

Kristen and John planned a small, intimate, affair at Glenn Burney Lodge here in Parry Sound. I have been to Glenn Burney Lodge many times this year already, to enjoy some of the amazing meals that they come up with, and so far I have left a happy, full, pregnant lady.

When I arrived at the lodge, Kristen and John had the entire place to themselves for their wedding weekend. I was immediately greeted by family, and I knew that it was going to be a great day. It’s always reassuring when you are greeted with open arms by family, and extended family, to something as intimate as a wedding.

The day was perfect, amazing weather, loving family, great details, and wonderful food. If I had to take a guess, I would say that these details were all very important details to both Kristen and John, and they planned everything just right.

Kristen and John, Thank you so much for including me in your perfect day. You are both loving, generous people, and I had the best time being included, and joining your family in what will always be one of the most important days of your lives.

Happy Thursday!

Meet Kristen & John. They are adorable, easy to get along with, and lots of fun. These qualities are easy to pick up on when first meeting these two.

Kristen & John’s wedding is in just under 3 short weeks, and is taking place at Glen Burney Lodge. A place that I am super excited to work with. The food, and the views of Georgian Bay are amazing!

The intimate affair that Kristen & John are having, is one that I know I will remember for years to come and I can’t wait!

Until then, take a peek at their engagement session and check back soon for their wedding!!

Happy Wednesday!
