When I think back to my sister’s childhood and who she played with, there was always one girl that came to mind. Her name was Sam. Cutest kid, a little quiet, but always very nice. So to think that, that same kid is now married and just had her very own little baby girl makes me feel…. Old. Really, old. There really is no other way to put it.

I was very excited when her sister purchased a Newborn session, as a baby shower gift to her sister. I couldn’t wait to be one of the first people to meet the new addition in Sam’s life and capture these moments for Sam and her husband.

Georgia did great at her session, once again having awesome babies in the studio is always a enormous plus! Also, Sam brought some props and mementos along with her so it was fun incorporating those into the session.

Happy Thursday!!!!

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful baby girl–thanks for sharing with those of us who live too far away to have met little Georgia in person yet….hope to soon!ReplyCancel

I absolutely LOVE it when I have past wedding clients that come to me for Newborn or family photos! It tickles my heart that they trust me as “their” photographer, and trust me to get these shots that will hang in their heart’s and homes for the rest of their lives. Truly, it means the world to me.

So, 2013 seems to be the year that past clients(wedding and otherwise) of mine are having babies! Yay for 2013!

It was a almost a year ago that I shot Sara & Daryl’s wedding at the Stockey Centre, and I absolutely loved being a part of their big day. So when Sara had told me they were expecting I was SO excited for them! It wasn’t long before Sara’s mom, Sue, was contacting me for Newborn photo’s and I couldn’t wait for March!

Baby boy Lewis was born(and of course I was away-there’s that Murphy’s Law I was talkin’ about), but as soon as I got back we did the session. Baby Lewis did awesome! He was just chill and let me do my thing…. Oh and can we just talk about that Jays Jersey for a second?!?! I freakin loved that shirt! It must be a sign that he is a future Jays player(especially because our session was on the Jays home opener!). Give Lewis some of your love, and seriously…. that Jersey. Gah!!

Happy Monday!

This little girl will forever hold a special place in my heart. She is the baby girl of my best friend in the whole wide world, so it’s one of those things where I might be slightly biased as to how freakin’ adorable she is.

Her name is Zoe-Lee and I love her so much already. As soon as she arrived, I couldn’t wait to get some Zoe snuggles in and just hold her! Gah!!! I just love snuggling with newborn’s-but who doesn’t right?!?

Zoe did awesome during her session, and she just let me do my thing with her, which is always great. Anywho, take a peek and leave Zoe a little blog love- I mean, C’mon! How could you not love that face and that HAIR!!!
Happy Wednesday!!!

Hi Cassie u did an amazing job with the pic’s of Zoe. She’s just a bundle of joy for the family,ReplyCancel

Of course, when I had booked a trip with my family to go away, I knew that all the babies I was waiting upon for arrival would either be born right before I left or right after. And that’s exactly what happened. It’s Murphy’s Law, right?
As always babies are unpredictable but this just further proves that theory!

Anywho, I hope you like babies because over the next week or so I will have 4 for you to feast your eyes on!!! Squishy cheeks, soft skin, and just a whole lot of adorable-ness!

So to kick off the baby overload is super cute Bennett! He was overdue, and determined to not come into the world until he was good and ready. But, it was his time. And I was thrilled that I got to meet him and take some super cute pics!

Enjoy the images and Happy Monday!!

What could I possibly say about this little guy? Gah!!

This little man is Hudson and he is a member of the family. When Hudson’s mom contacted me about doing some pictures for his first birthday, I of course wanted to be a part of this milestone!
So Hudson’s mom and I had made a plan about doing a cake smash session for this milestone. I had never done one before, but what better way to do my first one then with family.

Hudson did great(even though he wasn’t thrilled about getting a little messy-who knew!), but like I always say, kids rule the shoot. We managed to help Hudson along and get him to play with the cake a little, and in the end, there was cake everywhere!!

On a side note, I will be out of the office from Thursday March 14th-Tuesday March 26th. I will be checking emails periodically, but will not be returning emails until I return.

Happy Monday Everyone!
