All was quiet, everything was calm and then one by one I heard the cars roll up the drive way to the house, where Holly and her bridesmaids were getting ready. They hopped out of the cars and greeted me with such open arms, and such warmth that I knew this day was going to be warm and full of love. The girls all made their way up the driveway to the house all wearing matching tank tops and singing songs, to amp them up for the day ahead.
They all got dressed and Emily(Holly’s sister and maid of honour), helped Holly into her dress. With a little help from Mom, Holly was in and this was it. It was starting to set in. In such short time she would soon be Mrs. Daniel Whistler.
Before hopping in the car to make their way over to the church in Baysville, all the girls simultaneously let out a loud scream. To hopefully ease their nerves and to signal that they were ready.
The cars were parked, the guests were seated and the signal was made to start the ceremony. One by one the girls made their way down the aisle, and in this moment Holly took one deep breath and then it was her turn. One step at a time she made her way to Daniel. Keeping eye contact and flowing down the aisle, she knew that everything in that moment was perfect.
Holly & Daniel, you are such a loving, beautiful couple and your wedding day was such an honour to photograph. I thank you both for allowing me to do this and to let me be a part of it.
Also, a great big thank you to my other half that day, Kate Hood!
